1. GETTING TO KNOW YOUR BUSINESS

DISCOVERY MEETING

First thing’s first—I need to get to know you, your business, and your business goals. We’ll meet to discuss your objectives, your target audience, and what kind of marketing support you’re looking for.

BASELINE AUDIT

If you already have a website and we’re looking to redesign it, I may recommend a baseline audit. This allows us to get a lay of the land in terms of your website data—what pages are driving the most traffic, what keywords are driving traffic to your site. With this knowledge, we can better strategize the new website.

ASSET ORGANIZATION

Keeping your documents, photos, and files organized makes for a streamlined and efficient process. I use Google Suite to store your content and share revisions with you.

2. WEBSITE STRATEGY + SEO

KEYWORD RESEARCH

We’ll work together to determine what topics and keywords you want to be found for, then I’ll conduct some keyword research to find a good balance between keywords that you want to be found for, that also are highly searched for online. We’ll end up with a robust list to use as a starting point in developing content for your website.

SITE ARCHITECTURE

We’ll develop your site structure, the pages and sections within each page, and how a user will flow through your website. Decisons will be determined based on your marketing goals and keyword research.

CALL TO ACTION (CTA) STRATEGY

What actions do you want visitors to take? How can we best direct users to take those actions? We’ll determine where to place these CTAs to ensure a positive user experience and drive conversions.

SEO COPYEDITING

In addition to standard copyediting, SEO copyediting entails optimizing content based on the keyword and topic research we’ve done, which will help your website get found online by your target audience.

METADATA

Metadata helps Google to return relevant pages for a search query. Optimizing metadata for each webpage with relevant target keywords will improve your organic search traffic.

3. FUNCTIONALITY + DESIGN

BLOG, EVENTS, ONLINE SHOP

Perhaps you’d like to have a blog or events section on the website? Maybe you’re selling products or services and need an online shop or scheduling service? Depending on your business, any of these additional functionality needs may be included.

I’ll look at your website analytics: website traffic sources, backlinks, domain authority, top keywords currently driving traffic to your website, top website pages, technical SEO issues. Based on this data, I’ll provide recommendations for marketing initiatives.

This is a deep-dive into your website to provide concrete, tactical recommendations on how to improve your site to help reach your online marketing goals. Here, we’ll review and analyze everything from user experience to site layout, site architecture, calls-to-action, formatting, technical and on-page SEO, and more.

GOOGLE MY BUSINESS LISTING

Creating a Google My Business listing helps to build more visibility for your business on Google search results and Google maps. It’s a simple and free process to create a listing and helps build brand awareness and credibility for your business.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS

Google Analytics is a tool that measures website data, which helps to gain insight about website visitors and the actions they take on your site. I can create your account and add the tracking ID to your website, so when we’re ready to create a report, we’ve got data to work with.

GOOGLE SEARCH CONSOLE

Google Search Console is a free service offered by Google that helps you monitor and maintain your site's presence in Google search results.

EMAIL MARKETING

Email is still the most targeted way to reach your audience. I can help to set up branded templates, and write personalized copy that resonates with your audience. We’ll work on growing your contact list by integrating your email marketing platform and website to collect new subscribers. I’ll also keep your lists organized and segmented for targeted campaigns.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Having a presence on social media is a vital part of developing brand awareness and engaging with your target audience. I can help to set up your accounts and put a social plan in place that will grow your audience and drive traffic back to your website.
